The Summoning!: The omnipotent Monitor has observed two Earths (5 and 3) being destroyed by waves of anti-matter, takes an interest in the sole survivor of these worlds, infant...
DC's 50th anniversary, and time to clean house a bit. DC reinvents itself- and all it's characters- in one major series. This series rewrote everyone's history and erasing some heroes from existence completely- nothing remains the same in the post-Crisis DC Universe.
The name of the series comes from Silver Age crossovers between the Justice League and Justice Society of America; the crossovers were called "Crisis on Earth-S/X/4/etc."
The Summoning!: Deaths: Ultraman, Superwoman, Johnny Quick, Power Ring, Owlman (Crime Syndicate), Lois Lane-Luthor, Luthor III, Earths 3 and 5.
Issues that take place during this issue: Detective Comics #555-557, Swamp Thing #39.
