An important meeting of VIPs at Poseidon Industrial turns to mayhem and then murder right under the nose of cyborg cyber-agent Motoko Aramaki and Poseidon's security team. With the blood still wet on the polished hardwood, Motoko must once again jack into cyberspace and try to solve the crime with the use of one of her cyborg surrogates- providing her surrogate survives a knock-down drag-out encounter with a hit team of murderous machines.
