Phil Pruett has edited this anthology of comics short stories for over ten years now. Negative Burn’s debut at Image Comics follows the trajectory of earlier runs with more stories extending the range from humor to horror, and from the very personal to the plainly political. Striving for eccentricity and eclecticism, Pruett juxtaposes work by new talent alongside established names and has a long list of industry awards and nominations to his credit. Original plans calling for a quarterly publication schedule where shelved in favor of a monthly series.
