advertisement Wicket enters the Black Cavern to search for a Sun Crystal. Once inside, Wicket discovers Boogutt following him and the two fight over possession of a Sun Crystal. Then the huge serpentine Guardian of the Crytal rises from beneath the cavern floor. The Guardian attacks. Wicket and Boogutt flee. Wicket's Ewok Scout skills allow him to get away safely, but Boogutt is unable to escape the Guardian. Wicket sacrifices the new Sun Crystal to save the Dulok Prince's life. Though the Ewoks still do not have a Sun Crystal, Kazak is impressed by Wicket's courage and sacrifice. Wicket earns his badge - a piece of a shattered Sun Crystal.
