Synopsis

Adam Moon tries to make sense of his visit to the circus, but to no avail. A string of events - his teacher attacked by cats, flowers for Amanda, and a burned church steeple - leads Adam to believe somebody is watching him. After another beating from his father, Adam wishes his father dead. Later, Adam walks home and sees the ambulance take his bloody father away. Shaken, Adam walks into the circus tent and finds the Four-Who-Are-One challenge him to grow up. After flashbacks of further abuse, his sister's funeral, and his bleeding father laying on the hospital bed, Adam Moon grows up.
